Be aware that a miniature Shih Tzu isn't a breed on it's own, it's just a small Shih Tzu, should have the same temperment- breeding for size may cause faults.

'Miniature Shih Tzus' are the product of irresponsible breeders. The runts of the litter are overbred, and produce litters with notorious health problems. m.S.T.'s are recognized by the American Kennel Club because it's an unnatural genetic adaptation.

They are very pleasant little dogs to have arounsd and if you get a puppy and train it your way they are better yet. They like to bark but they do not bit and they train easily.
