The orange light indicates that the overdrive feature has been disabled. Look for the overdrive button on the gear stick to toggle on and off.

That light on the dash is used to indicate when the overdrive function have been turned off. To turn it back on again press the overdrive button located on the shifter. Then the trans will shift past third gear.
