The Andean Bear is found in the southern hemisphere. It is the only bear native to this part of the Earth. Another name for them is the Spectacled Bear. The appearance of their face, has a ring around both eyes. Thus looking like spectacles.

The Spectacled Bear, sometimes called the Andean Bear, is native to South America. Its range is along the Andes Mountains and includes Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and parts of Panama, Venezuela, Bolivia and Argentina. Their coloration makes them look like they are wearing glasses, giving them their name.

spectacled bears of South America is the only bear found in the southern hemisphere.It is 6 1/4 ft in length and nealy 125kg in weight.The female is 3/4 of the male in length.They are living by hunting the fish in the glacier holes.
