This is a stress test for your heart. It determines if the heart is getting enough blood, especialy if your Dad has already had a heart attack. The test will tell the specialist if your Dad's heart has blocked coronary arteries. The test will determine if he needs bypass surgery.

The MIBI test has been ordered by Cardiologist to determine the heart muscle is receiving enough blood flow through the coronary arteries. An exercise tolerance test and rest test are completed over a 2-day period – one test per day – be prepared to spend 2-2 ½ hours each day.

The MIBI test is a test that was developed specifically with heart testing in mind. In fact, over a dozen years ago, the MIBI test had not even been thought of, let alone get this fancy name MIBI.
