Many women with irregular cycles can go months, even years, without a period. You should do several things. First, take a home pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy. Second, you should call your GYN. Irregular cycles can be a sign of hormonal problems which may be treatable. Also, menstral bleeds are important to prevent types of cancer.

The longest menstural cycle length is maximum 1 month. If it delays other than that better you consult a doctor.

The length of the menstruation cycle depends upon the age. The younger the age say upto 21 years then the menstruation cycle is of maximum 28 days. But beyond the age of 42, the length of the menstruation cycle goes up slowly. Upto two months may be due to menopause.

If you haven't had a period two months in a row, you are probably in your second trimester. I would get a pregnancy test and make sure you are not.
