It is located on the underside of the vehicle. It mounts on the block and mates against the transmission housing usually. You might need to remove the lower engine shield.

The starter is going to be on the bottom of the car and it is going to have 3 bolts into the transmission.

The location for this starter unit is under the car. It is near the transmission, and usually mounted with the transmission housing. If you want to remove and repair or replace the unit, you will first have to remove the Engine Shield, then you will be able to remove the starter motor.
