What is the law about bringing cigarettes on the airplane?

Can I bring them on as long as I don't smoke them?

The airline will allow you to bring it on the plane with you but don't ever try to smoke them because the smoke alarm will go off and you can be fined when you land for interfering with a flight. You can also be banned from flying that airline again

Cigarettes are not banned. To avoid any misunderstandings, pack your cigarettes securely in your luggage and do not remove them during flight. Lighters and matches are generally not allowed on your person when boarding.

You can carry cigarettes on the plane. You cannot smoke them on the plane or in any but designated smoking areas in the airport.

Yes, you are permitted to bring cigarettes on an airplane as long as you do not smoke. If you check the Transportation Security Authorities' website on prohibited items (www. tsa. gov/travelers/airtravel/prohibited/permitted-prohibited-items. shtm), you'll find that cigarettes are not listed as a banned item. You cannot, however, bring most common lighters or strike anywhere matches.
