Passover is a celebration of when God rescued Jews out of Egyptian slavey. The story is in the book of Exodus in the Bible.

Passover celebrates an event described in the book of Exodus in the Bible. As Moses was getting the Pharaoh to set the Israelites free, one of the curses on the Egyptians was that the first born of every household would die. Israelites who put lamb's blood on their door posts were spared.
