What is the history of the Shetland sheepdog?

I like the look of the breed.

They were originally bred to be herding dogs in Scandanavia. The breed is very watchful and learn very quickly because of this. There is much to support that today's Shetland sheepdogs descend from dogs brought to the continent by Norse settlers, and there has even been bones found from these ancient dogs to support this reasoning.

Shetland Sheepdogs originate from the Shetland Isles in between Scotland and Norway. They were used by farmers for herding sheep and to protect their gardens from sheep that strayed.

This dog came from the Shetland Island and was originaly used as sheep guardian. Then they brouth to the Scotland and they became the best dog in obedience in workout. He is very cleaver and very good in agility.
