Ferruccio Lamborghini founded the company in 1963, a tractor manufacturer, to compete with Ferrari. Early designs were similar to Ferrari products, until in 1966 a group of engineers decided to try putting the engine and transmission in the back of car, thus creating the Miura.

Ferrucio Lamborghini was a tractor manufacturer who had a love for fast cars. He even bought Ferrari's. He was disappointed with the performance and built his own car.

Automobili Lamborghini S.P.A. was founded back in 1963 by Ferruccio Lamborghini. His goal was to make a grand touring style automobile. The continued to produce more and more exotic cars but eventually hit financial troubles. After bankruptcy and several owners it was finally bought by Audi who owns it today.

Well i know that they dont only make sports cars .They also make SUV's .I really dont know the history of the lamborghini .So i dont think i can help on this one
