Infosys is an IT services company founded on 2 July 1981 by seven Indian entrepreneurs with only 10000 Indian Rupees. It's headquarter is in Bangalore. It has development centers in India, China, UK, Canada, Australia and Japan and offices in 22 countries. As of 2010, it has 113796 employees which include subsidiaries.

Infosys is an indian company listed on the New York Stock Exchange which does offshore work in the information technology field. There was a recent scandal where a major shareholders and directors helped themselves to company funds.
