The answer to this question is really a two part answer. The F-15 eagle had two officially rated speeds; 1. Low altitude speed of Mach 1. 2(900mph) and, 2. High altitude speed of Mach 2. 5(1,650mph). The diffence in speed was caused by heavier air drag at lower altitude and thinner air at higher altitude.

The top speed for an F15 had been recorded as Mach 2.7. Mach 1 is approximately 761 miles per hour. This means that Mach 2.7 would be about 2054.7 miles per hour. The normal max speed is 2.5 mach unloaded and Mach 1.78 when fully armed.

The specifications for the F15C, taken from "Jane's All the World Aircraft" 2002 edition, list a top speed of Mach 2.5 (approximately 1,650 mph or 2,660 km/h) at high altitude. At low altitude, the top speed drops to Mach 1.2 (900 mph, or 1,450 km/h). These numbers may vary for other versions of the aircraft.
