What is the etiquette regarding an anniversary?

It depends on who it is and how long they've been married. Parents and Grandparents maybe a gift on a milestone anniversary. Otherwise just saying Happy Anniversary to the couple is fine, unless they're having a big party. Then it's up to how they are celebrating that would determine if a gift or card is even necessary.

Isn't a code to remember first of all. As a man I believe that that is the one thing that has been the hardest to do. After remembering flowers and a nice dinner, either eating out or making dinner is the best way to go.
