The difference between vintage and antique is, basically, age. Vintage items are going to be younger than 100 years old, but generally at least a generation old. Sometimes, it depends on the item - for instance, furniture is considered vintage at about 40 years. Some define antique as 75 or more years, others 100. It varies.

Vintage is the process of wine making from grapes whereas antique is an ancient item collectible and is an object representing the previous era.
