If you really want a good comparison look online for websites that put those two models up against each other. Basically the rogue is a lower level vehicle than the Murano. Check the forums for more info.

Have you ever heard of the 'mini me'? That's Rougue and Murano. Rogue is sort of a scaled dowm Murano. Rogue is designed to fit singles, small family and short people in a traffic-lock city while delivering style and performance. Murano is more of a moving art with a commanding presence.

The Nissan Rogue and Nissan Murano are two of the sleekest compact SUVs currently on the road, maybe even too sleek for their own good. Both models are equipped with similarly-looking pompous lines and sleek curves, though the Murano features slight differences at its front fascia and rear windows. The Rogue also features a smaller trunk and less passenger volume.

The Murano is a bit larger in size, as well as internal capacity. It boasts a larger fuel tank, bigger engine (V-6 vs. the Inline 4 of a Rogue)
