Muslim - one who follows Islam by the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad. Arab - one of the Arabian Peninsula.

Arabs are an ethnic group and Muslim is a religion. All Muslims are not Arabs. The majority of Arabs are Muslim but some are not.

Arabs are a nation of people spread across the Middle East. Muslims are people who worship God according to the teachings of the prophet Mohammed. A lot of muslims are asian, not arabic, eg. Indonesians. A lot of Arabs are Christian, eg. the Druze in Israel, Syria and Lebanon.

Muslims are people who follow Islam but Arabs are people who live in Arab. Hence muslims are people of one religion and Arabs are people of one nation. Most Arabs are muslims but this does not mean that in order to be a muslim you need to be an Arab.
