Garlic powder is simply dried ground garlic. Garlic salt is a flavored salt that is basically a mixture of dried ground garlic, table salt, and an anti-caking agent. Garlic salt can be easily made at home by pouring ground garlic into a bowl with salt and pouring a humectant on it.
