What is the difference between an analog and digital signal?

An analog signal is translated into an electric pulse. It takes the signal from audio or video or both and turns it into electrical power. Digital takes a video or audio signal and translates it to a binary code.

An analog signal is a continuous stream of electromagnetic waves (either electricity, radio, or microwaves). A digital signal is an approximation of an analog signal sampled at periodic time intervals.

Analog signals are WAVE signals and have more noise. But Digital signals are a Binary format, i.e., combination 0s and 1s. It have very less noise or no noise.

An analog phone call transmits the persons voice to the receiving phone. A digital signal breaks down the voice binary computer code and reassembles your voice.

An anoalog signal is a continuously varying signla, which could break apart (hints the snowy screen. A digital signal is made up of different time signals which actualy derive from an analog signal, the digitalized signal produces less "noisiness" and the picture is a pixelated signal.
