The unlawful entry is defined as the entry by a person or group of persons who have not been given permission by the owner of the house to enter into the premises. But if the person or the group of persons has got some legal sanction with them, then the same in not unlawful entry.

This is the same as trespass. Basically, is the entering of the property of another without authority or permission. It usually does require some notice that entry is prohibited. No trespass signs are the most common method of notice.
