What is the correct wording for a wedding reception invitation?

Answer by  lcm (132)

In this day and age, there isn't really a 'correct' wording for anything. Something like 'we invite you to celebrate our marriage at [venue]' works well to make it clear that they are not invited to the actual wedding.

The correct wording for a wedding reception invitation would most likely be an after party evite or Moon lighting evite.
