What is the cause of my camellias losing their leaves?

I can not get my camellias to stop losing leaves, maybe if I know the cause I can prevent it.

If they are losing leaves, then you need to add nutrients to the soil. Also, you may not be watering it enough.

Depends where the leaves are coming off at. At the top, too little water and at the bottom, too much water. It may be too a salt burn from too much fertilizer salts.

maybe its a plant-based bacterium. try asking a person well acquainted with flowers, such as the local florist, and they will probably know the answer and help you with your flower problems. If there is no local florist, you can also look into the library, on how to take care of camellias, and how to cure them.

Camellias losing their leaves due to following reasons : Too much of water, Fungal & Algal infections, Insufficient drinage holes,Not receiving enough water,Soil moisture issue,Due to some climatical changes,Not enough of getting sunlight,Due to new fartilizer which their reactions which are too hard,Thrips. To prevent losing leaves spray with Carbaryl,Diazinon,Dursban,Malathion,Merit, or sevin.
