The Bill of Rights is the term for the first ten amendments to the U. S. Constitution. These amendments establish basic rights for American Citizen, and mostly specify that the U. S. It is the first 15 amendments to the Constitution of the US. They were added to the Constitution not long after it was ratified. They deal with personal rights such as freedom of speech and the right to bear arms and the right to vote. The writers of the Constitution realized it did not provide for personal rights.

The Bill of Rights consists of the first ten amendments to the United States Constitution. It's not a separate document, or anything like that. It is called that because the first ten amendments of the Constitution focus mainly on individual rights and personal freedoms, such as freedom of speech or the right to bear arms.
