What is the best way to treat a cat with a third eyelid and constipation?

See your vet immediately. Its probably nothing big, but the third eyelid comes out when the animal is sick, and most usually when dehydrated. Constipation is a common cause of dehydration as well, so it's imperative that you see your vet and get the animal the fluids it needs. This should also help it have a bowl movement.

When a cat is sick, his mucous membranes dry out, and then his third eyelid will be begin showing. It's a sure sign to get him to the vet. If constipation is an issue, that's most likely related. Put some oil in his food, then get him to a VET.

You can feed the cat some olive oil for constipation. I mixed some in with wet food when my cat swallowed a rubber band so it would pass.

A vet needs to treat the third eyelid. Usually surgery is required. You also need to figure out why your cat is constipated because that can be very serious.
