I would use caulking because with patching you will need a great deal of knowledge on how to blend the pebbles and such. If you feel comfortable with this then the patching might be a better option for you as it will probably look better in the long run and probably will last longer for you.

It is important to find out the cause and intensity of the damage before you start repairing. You can use a pebble mix to patch up. It does take a lot of patches before the damage is concealed and it definetly needs expertise to do this job.

Cracks found in pebble tec must be patched with pebble patch or caulking. You can use a pebble mix to patch up. It does take a lot of patches before the damage is concealed,it definetly needs expertise to do this job. You feel comfortable with this then it is a better option.

I have two children who run and jump continuosly in our Pebbletec pool/spa. Notice I said spa. No one comes out bleeding or sore. If so,I would rip it out.
