First scuff the area with sandpaper to remove the old paint. Then coat with hardener and adhesive repair solution. Let this firm up before spraying on the paint.
Sand the damage down until the nick is gone then prime and paint it. Blending the repaired part into the old paint. Body filler can be used but it may crack later on if the bumper hits something.
