It depends on what kind of business it is. The Internet reaches the greatest audience worldwide, but if you have a small catering business in Tiny Town, Ohio, there's no point is global marketing. Determine who your customer is, then think about how to best reach him/her: print ads, TV/radio, flyers, billboards, Internet, YellowPages, etc.

It depends on what the business is. The marketing plan should have been created as part of the business plan, which includes information about target audience, marketing/advertising budget and demographics. Decide who you want to attract, then devise a plan to get their attention.
