Lifting weights and eating many small meals a day rather than 3 large ones will rev metabolism. It is very important to eat breakfast and get plenty of sleep.

Less amounts of food more frequently through out the day helps to boost the metabolism. For example, eat a bagel and milk, then some fruit an hour latter. Continue spacing at regular intervals, and you will notice you have more energy, eat less, and lose a fair amount of weight.
