What is the best way to go about preserving banana peppers?

Pickle by slicing,bring to a boil in 1 part vinegar, 1 part sugar, 1/2 part water, salt. Pour into sterilized jars, seal. Add a couple of hot peppers or other spices or seasonings to taste.

Pickling banana peppers with boiled plain, white vinegar and then bottling or canning them will keep them fresh. You can add various spices to taste as well.

Best way to preserve any peppers are Debbie Meyers green bags, they really do work. Remember to wipe the inside of the bag periodically though. They will get moist.

Peppers can be frozen whole and not seeded. Just defrost for use in recipes. They freeze well in a plastic bag.

i cut my in rings and put in vingar and water that was boil. then add oil orgian gargic and pickle spicesdry top of the jar and put lid on and seal tight
