What is the best way to get to Yankee Stadium?

You can take the 4B or D train from downtown Manhattan right to Yankee Stadium Station which is also known as 161st street station. Be careful, as on game days the trains will be packed.

Go either by car, subway or Metro North, depending where you're coming from. If you're driving, take the Major Deegan & the exit is right off that. There's also a new Metro North train that goes directly to the Stadium, or from the city take the 4,B or D subway.

When I went to Yankee stadium, I choose to take the subway. It was direct and less costly than a taxi.
