You can buy paints at craft stores that are for ceramics, they can be air cured or dried in the oven and will give a glaze effect.

What you need is a pair of dipping tongs. They are a tool that will hold the ceramics while you dip them. Another way to avoid touching the glaze is to wear rubber gloves while dipping.

Put the glaze in a tall narrow container. With thongs hold the piece with the thong and gently dip into pan. Let the glaze run off, set down to dry.

They make a netted basket that you can use for this purpose. It works great and will prevent you from getting covered in glaze.

Well basically hold them from the edge or use a tong that you don't mind getting glazed to dip it in.

Use tongs to dip object into glaze, being careful not to touch any part of the object on the glaze's container. Slowly remove object and allow any excess glaze to drip back into container. Finally, slowly move object to rack to dry.
