First the access poop should be carefully scraped up with a hard object like a piece of card. Then the area should be washed with a disinfectant cleaner to kill bacteria. A hard brush with warm water mixed with a cleaning product should also be passed over the area. Let carpet dry, repeat if necessary and vacuum.

I've tried every kind of rug cleaner there is out there. Oxyclean works the best. It removes everything. Try it out.

IF you want to clean dog poop you can go to specialty pet stores and buy something that is designed to clean dog poop or you can by a product called resolve which can be found at almost in store that sells home products. Also, you should buy an odor neutralizer because dogs poop in the same spot.

The best way I have found to do it and it usually doesn't leave a spot or and odor behind clean as much of it up as you can take the rug but before you use the shampooer pour some cool water on the spot then suck that out that way it doesnt push the mess deeper.

Pick it up with a sandwich baggie over your hand, fold it inside out, and throw that away. Scrape any residue off. Blot with vinegar, then a dry cloth.

You need to get an uric acid eradicator. These type of cleaners are typically referred to as "enzyme based". They are available at more of the large pet shops.

After removing all of the loose poop you can, spray Resolve foaming carpet cleaner on the area and wait 5-10 minutes. Clean up, and repeat with Folex.
