It depends on what you are comfortable with, but no matter how you do it, I'm sure your friends will be excited! If you are up for a get-together, you could invite your close friends over for dinner or snacks, and make the announcement all at once. Otherwise, call one or two friends and ask them to spread the word.

Start the announcment with "Good News". This allows your friends to know your feelings on the subject. "The good news is we are having a baby. "

I think simple is best... saying I'm pregnant works. If you wanted to be cute about it, you could have a meal with all baby foods (baby carrots, baby tomatoes, etc. ) and have them guess.

Try we are having a baby. There really is no special way to say or do it that has not already been done. If youa re all getting togheter for the holidays tell them then.
