One treatment for minor wheezing can be to place a vaporizer in their room. Many have been known to fill a bathroom with steam. If the wheezing becomes severe or the child begins to have trouble breathing, a visit to the emergency room or doctors office is in order.

A wheezing cough in a child could be a sign of croup. If you want to be sure whether or not it is croup, consult your doctor for medical advice.

A wheezing cough in a child can indicate phlegm in the lungs. The best way to treat it is to give the child an expectorant to make them cough all the phlegm up. You don't want it staying in there.

The best treatment for this would be to get cough medicine such as robotusen. Also if it continues to get worse you should see a doctor.
