It depends on if the bone spur is causing you discomfort. If not then just leave it alone, it won't hurt you. If it is though you may need reduction surgery (particularly if it causes nerve impingement).

Cervical bone spur is best treated by surgery. Cervical traction and exercises to lengthen the muscles can ease the pain or disregard the muscular effects of bone spur.

It depends on how severe but normally an anti inflammatory such as Zyflamend and regular exercise will keep it at bay. Beyond that will require physical therapy or chiropractic treatments, then surgery for severe cases.

Good treatments involve, Wearing a neck brace, Taking OTC pain relievers, Doing exercises, Applying heat and ice to relieve pain, Traction on the neck for a week or two to reduce the pressure on spinal nerves and maybe Hospitalization for intravenous pain control.
