A scrape does not require a doctor's visit. You should wash it with a soft wet cloth to remove any debris, then use a triple antibiotic ointment and cover it with large bandage. If the wound becomes red, puffy or oozes, then seek medical attention.

First, I would clean the wound with warm water, then apply some pressure for a minute or so using a clean cloth to stop any bleeding. Next, in order to prevent infection, I would then put some antibiotic cream on a bandage and then apply the bandage to the knee.
