As a photographer, I have learned in every way possible. I have bought books, spent a lot of time reading online, as well as talking to other photographers. However, the best way to learn is by doing. With digital, pictures cost nothing, so just shoot constantly, and review your work to find what works and what doesn't.

The best source of photography tips and techniques are online. Not only is it free, there's just so much information to cover every detail, it's so much better than books. Books are old school, like film and darkrooms. Classes are mostly taught by failed or retired photographers looking for a quick buck. The internet is free.

Almost every community of any size has a camera club that offers free or very inexpensive seminars or help sessions that address a huge number of photo techniques. To locate these clubs, look online for PSA (or "Photographic Society of America). You should find a list of clubs there.

Well, the best tips and techniques are not found online, or in a book. But at the tips of your fingers. Keep a steady hand, have a good eye, and let your index finger take over.

I recommend looking at photography magazines in your local library and if possible taking a beginner class. The magazines have up to the minute techniques and ideas, while the classes give you a solid basis in understanding your camera and the terminology. A class also gives you specific assignments and deadlines, which some people find useful when learning something new.

I love photography and started off taking class's. I would suggest starting with a 35 mm class then if you have a love for it branch out. The 35mm class will be cost affective. Just have fun :0)

Photography tips can be found in numerous ways. Many online help resources can answer any questions you may have. Also, consider taking a class for some expert advice.

Photography classes are best. Although, there is a ton of information online and in books, photography is something that requires hand-on activity and experience.

There are many sources available and the question really is online or taking a class, since books do not have as many references as an ebook or online course now have. If you want to do it at home, try online. Take a class if not.

Taking a class will be the best, but it will be the most expensive, online is cheapest and will have a wide variety, but won't be hands on

Taking a class would be the best way to learn as your instructor would be teaching you with the hands-on approach. You can learn by searching online, but if you have questions, you might get stuck.
