The Adobe Creative Suite is used by professionals for graphic design. It has Illustrator, for vector graphics drawing, Photoshop for image manipulation and freehand drawing, and Fireworks, which has some of the features of both Illustrator and Photoshop. This software is available on both Windows and Mac.

Mac is not software, really. It is an operating system on which you can use software. But many graphic designers use Macs, and the most popular program is Adobe Suite.

Mac is not a program. A very good program is Photoshop. but it will cost you a lot, it costs from $300-$1000 depending on which package you get. Another great program is a freeware known as Gimp, which is very similar to photoshop because of its similar features and option.
