Illuminations usually start at nine pm however the best reservation time is seven fifteen to around seven fifty to better your chances of getting a table.

It seems the recommendation is to get a reservation for about 7:50, arrive a little early, and request an outside table. Illuminations are about 9.

The best view of the 9pm show is outdoors on the patio. You cannot reserve an outdoor table, but you can request one at the podium check-in. Some had success with 7pm reservations, but there are no guarantees. There is a lower patio behind the restaurant with a view.

You should try and get a reservation for around 7:20 or 7:30. By the time you get your dessert the show will most likely start to begin. I also believe you have the option to go out onto the patio they have and watch it from there.
