Rest and relaxation. Do not go out if possible as it is extremely contagious. If you need food and you don't have any way to get it, delivery is best.

Strep Throat is an infection that can be treated with various antibiotics. Prolonging getting proper treatment can lead to other infections, and in some cases can be fatal. See your doctor as soon as possible, take ALL medication prescribed, drink fluids, and rest.

First go to your doctor. He will take a throat swab to see if you have strep. If the test comes back positive, he will put you on antibiotics and rest.

The only cure for strep throat is antibiotics prescribed by your dr. You need to see him/her anyway for a throat culture to verify that you do indeed have strep.
