I grew up on PCs & I started using Macs in college & at work. I prefer PCs slightly more since they're more reasonably priced, but Mac screens allow graphics to look their very best. If you're doing video, go Mac because Final Cut Pro (by Apple) beats Adobe Premiere!

A computer with a windows OS installed in it is the basic need for Adobe products. The next main parameter is the configuration. As Adobe products deals with multimedia, it needs a higher configuration of RAM [min 1GB], Hard disk, Processor [min 2 Ghz] and a motherboard with suitable graphic adapter.

Adobe products work best on Mac computers. Adobe software is actually optimized for Macs. Any Apple computer that you buy, if it's new, will run the entire Adobe collection flawlessly. PCs, as long as they have enough RAM and CPU power, should run Adobe products just as well as a Mac.

Best for the money monitor, fast enough processor, 4-8 GB RAM, medium-class video card, RAID card (LSI SAS 2008-based) with ultra-fast RAM (better) or Flash SSD 4-8 drives array (no big in volume - about 64GB will be enough, though for flash SSD that would be no less than 120).

I think the best computer for adobe products is a powerful mac or pc with a good processor, big hard drive, good video card, and a lot of ram memory

Really there is no one brand that is better then another. Typically though it is good to have a lot of memory 2gb+ and a good amount of hard drive space. A high-resolution monitor is also a good idea.

Usually the best computer for Adobe products would be any flavor with a fast processor and lots of extra RAM. If you can afford it, a Mac Pro is best.
