The green wing macaws are very social birds and require much attention.Also require large space due to their large size to feel more comfortable. If they don't acquire the attention they can become aggressive. They have a sensitive and affectionate disposition. Want to talk more and are more vocal than other macaws.

Usually they're sensitive and gentle, but they do need a lot of attention. It's hard to generalize though, since each bird has its own personality.

It all depends on how the bird has been raised and has been treated. Also time of year is a factor. Breeding season can make birds mean and unpredictable.
