That depends on the golfer. A golfer with a fast golf swing can drive a ball 300 yards ( 250 carry, and 50 yards rolling. A golfer with a slow golf swing can barely carry the ball 150 yards. There is some (minor) difference in balls but mainly it depends on the golfer's abilities.

The drive distance depends on the player. Tiger Woods can drive a ball over 300 yards consistently. Most beginning golfers can barely drive it over 200 yards. The distance depends on the swing speed and how squarely the club face hits the ball. There are swing aids to help golfers improve their swing speed for more distance.
