What is the advantage of a side-by-side fridge?

The freezer should be roomier, if not, it should at least be easier to find things in the freezer of a side-by-side fridge.

The side by side is usually larger and provides more total space. Plus frozen items can be stored vertically so you dont have to pile around to get to the back.

I love my side by side fridge because I don't have to be worried about a thing of porkchops falling on my head when I open the freezer. :)

The side by sides are more efficient as it is easier to find what you are looking for, they are just as deep (wide) as standard refrigerator, but with it being side by side, they provide more space, floor to ceiling. They are also more energy efficient than standard refrigerators.
