Stevens.Johnson´s disease is a condition that affects the skin. It is also known as toxic epidermal necrolysis, and it affects all the skin and mucous membranes of the body. The patient has blisters, ulcers all over his body, fever and sore throat, and the disorder can be caused by an infection or as a severe reaction to some medication.

Stevens–Johnson syndrome is a severe skin disease that causes cell death and can be potentially fatal. The disease is mostly caused by negative reactions to medications and presents mostly in older patients who are perscribed these medications. Symptoms such as cough, aching, headaches, and fever may present before physical signs on the skin.

Stevens-Johnson's disease (rather syndrome) is basically a disorder of skin due to reaction of medications or infection.Symptoms are purplish rash that spreads and cause the epidermis to die. initial symptoms are same as that of flu. Treatment emphasize on the symptoms of disease and is done to reduce symptoms. recovery takes weeks to months.

Steven-Johnson's disease is a skin disease that can be life-threatening. Though it is considered idiopathic, it is often caused by an allergic drug reaction.
