It's the curvature of the spine. It's usually not life threatening but it can be in severe cases. In serious cases, it can threaten the organs if the spine and rib cage invades the organs.

It's usually not life-threatening, but for severe curvatures, it can press upon one's organs. Most cases are minor and require nothing; moderate scoliosis requires wearing a back brace daily. Really severe cases are treated by surgically implanting a metal rod to the spine to keep it straight.

Scoliosis is not life-threatening but it can be uncomfortable. Many girls are at risk for it and it is a condition where the spine is not straight. Some girls have it so severe they need to wear a brace.

Scoliosis is an abnormal curvature of the spine. No it is not life threatening, all of us have a little bit of a curve in our spine. But people living with scoliosis might be living in a lot of discomfort due to the abnormal constant compressions and stretching of muscles.
