All basic puppy care is essentially the same. Hold your puppy a lot when first bringing him or her home. This is essential until the puppy is used to the new environment. Feed the puppy three times a day. Poodles require grooming, so make a visit after about four months.

Always feed your poodle dog food, no table scraps. Make sure he has plenty of fresh water. Take him to vet for regular checkups. Provide a safe place for the dog to live and play.

Tons of time and attention you cannot give them to much of it. You need to get them toys that are their size otherwise they will make toys out of your stuff. They are really hard to potty train and they tend to do better if someone is home with them all th time.

The biggest worry about these small puppies is blood sugar levels. Keep Light corn syrup on hand at all times. If the puppy is lethargic give them a few licks.
