What is normal behavior of an eight week old Siberian husky?

I recently got a new puppy, she seems to cry and whine a good bit of the time resulting in my losing sleep and worrying about her.

If your new puppy is whining and crying, it could be a couple things. She might miss her old home and her mother, but she could be sick too.

Like most puppies, she's probably homesick. Try an old alarm clock wrapped in her bedding, as this resembles the sound of her mother's heartbeat.

Bringing a puppy home is a lot like bringing a baby home; they cry non-stop and you have no clue what they want or need. See if you can go and rub a towel or blanket on its mama, then let the puppy sleep with it. Should help a little!

The puppy at this age are almost all the same, that behavior that you describe could be caused by the adaptation of the puppy to a new environment, this is because the dog is not yet used to the new family and needs time to adapt to new circumstances.

This is totally normal. Most puppies do this at first. They're used to being with their siblings and tend to get kind of lonely. They also get scared when they're in their kennels alone. There isn't much you can do. It just takes time. Make her kennel comfortable for her. She will get used to her new home in time.
