Multiprocessor system is a microcomputer or computer that contains more than one processor. This allows for concurrent execution of processes, or commonly referred to as true multitasking. The processors can either be on separate sockets or integrated on the same die (such as Intel's i7 line).

This is more number of processing which is working together to work simultaneously. This is used to work more processing in a less time period. This is also called as parallel system.
