Mormon underwear is a kind of full length underwear that covers the body from the knees to the biceps. It is a kind of ritual undergarment, meant to remind the wearer of their covenant with God. It is also a part of a purification process, and it inhibits the wearer from wearing "immodest" clothing.

Devout Mormons begin wearing special undergarments after a special ceremony. The lightweight, usually white undergarments have religious symbols printed on them or incorporated in the design. The underwear serves as a reminder of the covenant each individual Mormon has with God. It also allows Mormons to set themselves apart from the world while still being a part of it.
