Well you have to use a sealer to seal the cracks. It is a pretty difficult task but can be done in a couple of hours. Get some sealer and your good to go.

You basically just grind at it until it is gone. If the crack goes down the glass you may need to apply resin.

The broken pane of glass must be removed, making sure to remove all of the old caulking. The new pane should be fitted into place and recaulked on both sides.

The piece of glass is held in place by an application of trim on each side. Remove the trim on only one side and the glass can then be removed.

The best thing to do is to get a piece of fiberglass that is bigger than the crack. You can cut out where it is cracked and the reinstall the new piece of fiberglass. It is the best repair and the most effective to keep your boat from taking on to much water.

If the transom is made of wood, then you would cut a piece of plywood or hardwood the correct size that you need and replace it. If it is metal then you would cut the old metal out with a cutting torch and weld a new piece of the appropriate size.

Remove the transom glass that is cracked, measure 1/8 inch shy of the opening and cut glass to fit. Use glazer pins and compound to replace the glass.
